Mr. Williams's practice is focused on all areas of business and employment litigation (trial and appellate) and bankruptcy and creditors' rights matters.  He has significant experience:

  1.      representing clients in business litigation in state and federal courts (plaintiffs and defendants)

  2.      representing employers and employees in employment-related litigation, including sexual harassment, wrongful termination, and discrimination litigation

  3.      defending clients who have been sued for alleged violations of the state and federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Acts and/or the Fair Credit Reporting Act

  4.      defending clients who have been sued in bankruptcy court for receiving alleged preferences and/or fraudulent transfers

  5.      prosecuting and opposing appeals in state and federal court (including writs)

  6.      prosecuting nondischargeability cases against debtors in bankruptcy

  7.      representing creditors (secured and unsecured) in bankruptcy cases, including claims litigation.


Mr. Williams also has significant experience representing chapter 11 debtors in all aspects of the chapter 11 reorganization process; representing chapter 7 trustees and bankruptcy estate managers; and representing buyers in transactions involving the purchase of assets from bankruptcy estates.
